Olympic Medalist Lee Dae Hoon Teaches “Korean Englishman” High Schoolers Taekwondo And One Of Them Aced Every Move
Korean Englishman YouTuber Josh Daryl Carrott and his British high schoolers have taken a trip to Korea and visited the World Taekwondo Headquarters to meet Taekwondo Olympic medalist Lee Dae Hoon.
Lee Dae Hoon was a silver medal winner at the 2012 London Olympics and a bronze medal winner at the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was also a three-time gold medalist at the Asian Games. The boys were surprised that the Olympian would give them a crash course in Taekwondo.
Taekwondo is a Korean form of martial arts characterized by punching and kicking, emphasizing head-height kicks, spinning jump kicks, and fast kicking techniques. The British boys now get a rare opportunity to learn the sport from an Olympic champion.
The boys were off to a rough start when they struggled with executing the proper form.
Dae Hoon then introduced them to the different kicking techniques. He did a perfect kick that intimidated the boys, showing off his perfect execution.
There were misses…
And then there’s Jayden, who aced it.
Armand got an “A” for being adorably awkward.
But he got it eventually.
The culmination of their Taekwondo lesson was learning to break a pine board. Most of the boys did amazingly well, impressing even Dae Hoon.
Lee Dae hoon was an excellent Taekwondo instructor. The boys learned so much in such a short time, and one of them excelled in every lesson. It was Jayden.
