The One K-Pop Idol TVXQ Changmin’s Younger Sister Wanted To Be Friends With
TVXQ‘s Changmin was the most recent guest on Eric Nam‘s Daebak Show, and the legendary 2nd-gen artist spilled on his debut days, his celebrity friend group, and revealed the only K-Pop idol his younger sister hoped she and Changmin could be friends with.
Eric Nam and Changmin reflected on the time they met at a brand event, and Changmin remembered greeting Eric first, being drawn to him because of his kind personality.
Since Changmin is his industry senior, Eric shared he was grateful to be greeted by him because he felt he “wasn’t famous” at the time of the event. Having been raised in the United States, he revealed a lot of senior idols didn’t know him well at first.
Changmin assured Eric that he was underestimating himself and explained that Eric Nam was “so famous.” So much so that a commonly-known phrase among fans declared, “Every household should be provided with an Eric Nam.” Changmin knew of the phrase and hilariously said there was “no way [he] wouldn’t have known [Eric].”
Changmin pointed out that whenever fans called him the nickname “Mr. Perfect,” he thought of Eric Nam too.
To prove his point that Eric was well beloved, Changmin revealed that one of his two younger sisters asked her superstar brother, “Is there no way we can be friends with [Eric Nam]?”
Changmin shared that Eric was the only idol his younger sibling had wanted them both to be friends with, proving Eric’s popularity.
Since his debut, Eric Nam has been known for his friendly personality and has won the hearts of fans worldwide, including the Shim household!
