Park Shin Hye reveals the reason why she's so close with Kim Woobin

Friends and former Heirs co-stars Park Shin Hye and Kim Woobin recently revealed how they became fast friends.

When they first met, their relationship was a bit complicated. In Korea, there is an emphasis on senior/junior relationships at the workplace, as well an age relationship between friends. Kim Woo Bin pointed out that there could be a complicated relationship between friends who are similar in age but aren’t born in the same year.

Although Kim Woo Bin is a year older than Park Shin Hye, she responded by pointing out that she’s been in the industry longer than he has. Park Shin Hye also added that since she was born really early in 1990, she actually went to school early as well.

With the situation being a bit complicated, Park Shin Hye gave Kim Woo Bin an ultimatum, saying “So do you want to call me sunbaenim (senior) or should we just be friends?” Here’s how the dialogue played out.
