Who Pays For IZ*ONE’s Meals When The Former Members Get Together?
Soloist Choi Yena recently appeared on the show Don’t Forget Your Breakfast 2 with TV personality and comedian Jang Sung Kyu, opening up about her childhood, her first luxury purchases after her debut in 2018, her former IZ*ONE group members, and more.
The popular K-Pop group IZ*ONE was formed through the Mnet reality competition program Produce 48 in 2018.
The group officially made its debut in October of that same year and promoted heavily until their contracts ended in 2021, and the group disbanded.
Since the group’s disbandment, the majority of the members continued their successful careers as idols, including Choi Yena, who made her debut as a solo artist in 2022.
Though it’s been nearly three years since the group disbanded, the members remain close, and Choi Yena opened up about what the members do when they reunite, including who splits the bill when the 12 members go out to eat.
Jang Sung Kyu asked about the former group members’ payment arrangements when they get meals, and Choi Yena answered they split the bill.
Choi Yena explained why, revealing that the members’ meal expenses once exceeded ₩10.0 million KRW (about $7,530 USD).
Eating at expensive restaurants isn’t the only way the former IZ*ONE members spend their time together.
