PENTAGON's Hongseok Reacts Adorably To Being Complimented By Super Junior's Kyuhyun

PENTAGON‘s Hongseok shared an adorable encounter he had during a music program recording of his group’s new song “DO or NOT.”

During the recording, Hongseok had a chance to meet one of his favorite idols, Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun! Hongseok is known to be a huge fan of the singer as he has uploaded several covers of Kyuhyun’s songs. Conveniently, PENTAGON is promoting “DO or NOT” at the same time that Super Junior is promoting their song “House Party.” Because of this, the boys were able to say hello to the veteran group.

We all went to greet the Super Junior sunbaenims. But since it was a greeting to all of the sunbaenims, and it would have been kind of rude for me to greet Kyuhyun sunbaenim alone, I just didn’t say anything. I am also a big fan of all of Super Junior as well, after all. After we did our group greeting, we headed out one by one. I happened to be the last person in line, and as I was heading out Kyuhyun sunbaenim came over and said ‘I enjoyed your song.’

He then adorably began to freak out in his video. He shared that he was actually so shocked that he couldn’t even think for a moment. He thought, “Wait, what song is he talking about?” He tentatively asked if it was about his cover song, and Kyuhyun nodded. He complimented, “Of course. You did a really good job. I enjoyed it.”

I was too frozen from shock to respond properly, so I wan’t able to thank him as much as I wanted to. I honestly wanted to bow down on the ground. I had no idea that Kyuhyun sunbaenim would listen to my cover song!
