The soloist from THE BLACK LABEL has always been open with her fans. The post of hers that garnered much attention online was none other than her ultra-candid reaction to an old photo of her dad. Without mincing any words, she praised his looks in the grayscale shot from several decades ago.

Somi’s father, Matthew Douma, is Dutch-Canadian who works as an actor and English educational consultant.
K-Drama fans might recognize him from his cameo appearance in KBS‘s Descendants of the Sun where he played the role of an American armed forces leader.
K-Pop fans, meanwhile, know him best as Somi’s dad who appeared in her “XOXO” music video…

When it comes to physique and dedication to a healthy lifestyle, they are definitely similar.
Besides her father, Somi also shared a stunning picture of her mom when she was younger. She commented, “My mom too [is so hot].”
She followed up these individual shots with her parent’s wedding day photo. Needless to say, Somi got the best of both of their genes!
She ended the Instagram story time by saying that they “lived happily ever…with [her] of course,” attaching a new photo of herself as a toddler.
Coincidentally, it also confirmed that Somi’s resemblance to Evelyn, her younger sister, was uncanny.
Even her younger sister, who K-Pop fans were introduced to when she was just an elementary school student, is all grown up now.
