Jeon Yeo Been is one of the top actresses in the Korean entertainment industry today, with hit shows like Be Melodramatic and Vincenzo, as well as movies like Alienoid and Harbin under her belt. Jeon Yeo Been had initially planned to become a doctor and was preparing for medical school during her school days. But after watching the movie Dead Poets Society, she was moved so much that she started dreaming of becoming a filmmaker.

While she was attending university, Jeon uploaded some profile photos on social media, which got her noticed by an industry insider. She was then approached with an audition offer, which led to her debut as an actress! Jeon’s first acting role was in the 2015 period drama film The Treacherous.

After making her appearance in the Hyun Bin-starrer Harbin, she is set to appear in SBS’s new drama, Our Movie. The show, which is a melodrama about a film director suffering from the sophomore jinx and an aspiring actor with a terminal illness, is set to air in 2025.
