Popular Actress Who Got Hastily Married Because Of A Dating Rumor
Veteran actress Myung Se Bin recently opened up about her hasty marriage and quick divorce, claiming that her fame put her under pressure to take the wrong step.
Myung Se Bin debuted in 1996 in a music video for singer Shin Seunghun and won over the public’s heart with her pure image. She then rose to prominence with back-to-back hit shows, starting with KBS’s Part Crane, followed by Purity, Into the Sun, Hellcats, and Still Marry Me.
Myung had maintained a very innocent and pure persona as an actress throughout her career. So, when she suddenly announced her marriage in 2017, fans were utterly taken aback. She married a prominent legal professional on August 17, 2007.
However, five months after tying the knot, the couple announced that they were getting divorced, sparking further public intrigue in their relationship. The actress recently talked about the circumstances that caused her marriage to be short-lived during a candid variety show appearance.
Myung confessed that it all started with a dating rumor while the two were still getting to know each other. A trusted media personnel advised her to admit to it, but when she did, the rumors spun into marriage speculations.
I couldn’t deny that I was in a relationship, so when I contacted a trusted reporter for advice, he suggested, ‘It would be better to just admit it.’..Since we were both of marriageable age, the news articles exaggerated the rumors of our marriage, and we ended up getting married.
