Popular Actress Had To Move Out Of Luxury Apartment Due To An Incident With Her Autistic Son
Popular actress Oh Yoon Ah recently opened up about the challenges she has faced while raising her autistic son, Song Min. The actress shared her personal story on the upcoming episode of SBS‘s Strong Heart.
A preview of the episode has already been released, in which Oh revealed some of the prejudices she and her 18-year-old son have faced throughout their journey. The actress, who moved from a luxurious ₩3.00 billion KRW (about $2.25 million USD) Han River-view apartment to a detached family house, explained the reason behind this significant change in her life.
Recalling a painful incident in her previous building’s elevator, Yoon Ah described how a couple reacted uncomfortably when her son, Song Min, made a sound by saying ‘Woo woo.’ The discomfort escalated when the man made a shocking remark in a loud voice, leaving the actress and her son visibly upset. The cast members of the show also couldn’t hide their anger at the insensitivity displayed by the couple.

The actress spoke about the challenging moments she faced as a mother, acknowledging that there were times when frustration led her to express her anger. However, she emphasized that caring with love had proven to be the most effective form of communication with her son.
Despite the hardships they have faced, Oh also spoke about the positive changes in her son’s life since he started appearing in entertainment shows. She revealed that her YouTube channel, featuring videos of her and her son, has garnered the highest number of views.
The actress even mentioned that during filming, people often recognize her son Min before recognizing her. Yoon Ah seemed over the moon over the fact that her son is considered the best guest on the shows.
Strong Heart is a popular SBS talk show hosted by Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Gi where guests are able to share their emotional stories with the public. Oh Yoon Ah’s episode is set to air tonight at 10:20 PM.
