Popular AKB48 Members Spotted In Seoul For Produce48
More anticipation builds for Produce48, as AKB48 members have been spotted flying in and out of Seoul through Gimpo International Airport.
96 trainees will compete against each other to form a Korean-Japanese project girl group. 48 girls from AKB48 and 48 girls from South Korean entertainment agencies will appear on the program.
Though the members tried to cover up in masks, fans recognized AKB48 girls without difficulty. Here is one of the more highly celebrated participants, Sakura Miyawaki, posing for pictures at the airport.
Sakura Miyawaki was spotted maskless around Seoul as well. Even though the program is yet to begin, her strong visual has accumulated many fans in Korea.
Another popular member, Jurina Matsui, was also spotted at the airport. She took the time to wave at the camera, for her Korean fans! Her keen sense of “airport fashion” is already going viral among her fans.
Jurina Matsui, as an avid Twitter user, asked for support in a recent Tweet!

Mako Kojima (in pink) and Juri Takahashi (in black) were seen coming through Gimpo Airport as well. The two noticed the cameras and smiled to greet their Korean fans out to welcome them at the airport.
Both Mako Kojima and Juri Takahashi are beautiful, especially when they’re not covered up in hats and masks!
Saho Iwatate was spotted exiting the airport as well.
With AKB48 arriving one by one, fans are thrilled to see the familiar faces in Korea and eager to support their favorite members on Produce 48.
The show began shooting on April 11th, 2018 and is scheduled to premiere in June.
