Popular Singer’s Wax Figure Gets “Molested” By Visitors
Andy Lau is an actor and singer-songwriter hailing from Hong Kong.
The 62-year old man has had an illustrious career, being dubbed one of the “Four Heavenly Kings” of 1990s Cantopop and even winning a record-breaking 444 music awards by 2006.
He is so popular, in fact, that he even has his own Madame Tussauds wax figure in Hong Kong. His likeness was captured by the life sized version of himself in a suit.
Unfortunately, not all fans are respectful of his image. According to host Spencer Leung in the show Live Spiritual Contact, the wax figure of Andy Lau had its zipper pulled down by unnamed visitors. This has apparently happened numerous times over the past few years.
They always end up wanting to touch and people often start pulling the zippers down.

While the statue itself is mainly made of wax, it is wearing normal clothes that can be put on and removed like usual. The museum allows visitors to touch the body of the display but likely did not expect them to “molest” them.
The host advised visitors to be more respectful of the Cantopop King’s image, saying that they need not be curious anyway about what is underneath the fabric.
There is nothing underneath.
