Female Idol Caught Up In “Weird” Plastic Surgery Rumors Provides Evidence

Recently, the idol band QWER sat down with YouTuber Mimi Minu on his YouTube show Is This Song Popular 2. The group, who also appeared in Season 1, played games and answered casual interview questions.
Magenta, the group’s bassist, was asked about her plastic surgery rumors. “I get asked so much,” she told Mimi Minu.
Mimi Minu said that according to these “weird rumors,” Magenta’s nose keeps changing sizes. Magenta confirmed that her nose does change size, getting larger in the morning and smaller at night, but it’s due to water retention. To reduce the swelling, she massages her nose throughout the day.
When asked directly if she has had plastic surgery, Magenta told Mimi Minu that she hasn’t — but she wants to get her nose trimmed to reduce the size of her T-zone. “I review our videos a lot,” Magenta said. “and my nose, this T-zone, it feels like it’s as big as the Sphinx.” She added that while many other people contour their nose area between the eyes to make the bridge look higher, she does the opposite.
Magenta also presented her first-grade elementary school photo to prove that–contouring aside–her nose is completely natural.
This is the first time Magenta has shown pre-debut photos in the hopes of shutting down plastic surgery rumors. She recently revealed her graduation photo while on a variety show.
