Red Velvet’s Yeri Is Living The Dream On Her Europe Takeover
This month, Red Velvet’s Yeri surprised fans by taking an impromptu solo vacation around Europe. Take a look at some of her best snaps from the trip—she’s really living every 20-year-old’s dream!
Yeri’s first stop was London, where she headed for a photoshoot with Marie Claire Korea for the magazine’s March issue.
Fans greeted her at the airport with numerous gifts to welcome her to her ‘hometown’—a running joke among ReVeluvs that Yeri is secretly British.
When Yeri updated Instagram with photos of herself exploring the city, her old friend Herin was quick to leave a cute comment. Herin was once a trainee under SM Rookies and also participated in Mnet’s Idol School. After leaving the show, she returned to her hometown of Manchester in England.

Luckily, despite storms across England disrupting travel plans, Herin was able to meet up with Yeri during her trip! The two hadn’t seen each other in 3 years.
In between shooting and socializing, Yeri also found the time to dine at London restaurants…
…and visit famous stores like Hamleys, the world’s largest toy store.
At first, ReVeluvs assumed Yeri would be returning to Korea after her London trip. However, she surprised everyone when she turned her journey into a full-on Europe takeover, arriving in Paris on February 13.
What better place to spend Valentine’s Day than one of the world’s most romantic cities? Yeri headed to the Jardin du Palais-Royal on February 14.
She also shared pretty Valentine-themed photos of herself wearing lipstick from Notre Colette, the newly launched make-up brand she’s endorsing.
From galleries to gardens, Yeri embraced everything Paris had to offer.
Even after visiting two of the continents’s most-loved city destinations, Yeri couldn’t get enough of Europe. On February 17, she shared that she’d moved on to the next stop on her trip: Barcelona.
In true Yeri fashion, the singer-songwriter has been sharing plenty of snaps from the beachfront city.
Red Velvet’s La Rouge concert in Japan on January 24 hasn’t yet been cancelled despite the threat of coronavirus. If the event is going ahead, it’s likely that Yeri will have to return to Asia within the next few days.
It will be sad to see Yeri’s happy trip across the continent coming to an end, but it looks like she enjoyed herself and made plenty of great memories!
