This rookie group got over 5 million views in couple of days
Rookie co-ed group K.A.R.D‘s new music video has successfully surpassed 5 million views on YouTube in just 4 days.
DSP Media’s new idol group K.A.R.D has been gaining huge amounts of attention since their debut. Their first pre-debut single ”Oh NaNa” was released on December 12 last year. And upon release, the song has received strong international response, taking the #4 spot on the US iTunes K-Pop music chart.
Following their success, the group released their second pre-debut single “Don’t Recall”. The music video hit an incredible 5 million views in just 4 days and, as of February 25, has just hit 7 million on their own channel. This is an impressive accomplishment for a rookie group who has not made their official debut. Similarly, their first single “Oh NaNa” has almost hit 9 million views on the official K.A.R.D YouTube channel.
Despite the lack of promotion in music shows, K.A.R.D already has a surprisingly huge following in the K-pop world due to their unique co-ed member line-up and refreshingly mature concept.
Formed late last year, K.A.R.D consists of members BM, J.seph, Somin and Jiwoo. The group plans on releasing 3 pre-debut singles before they debut later this year. Former KARA member Heo Youngji was featured on their first single as a hidden feature.
