“Running Man” Jeon So Min Spills On Her Unexpected, Awful Encounter With Her Ex-Boyfriend

Running Man has never shied away from talking about the cast members’ and guests’ struggles, victories, and (of course) dating lives.

Guests on the show have often shocked viewers with their stories, like when ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo revealed that he’d been dumped by an ex-girlfriend before.

I went to see her because I missed her. I went to her crying and asked her to come back, and she did.

Similarly, the regular cast members of Running Man follow different “love lines” to increase the show’s entertainment, leading to some fans shipping the cast members. Although recently, cast member Jeon So Min publicly cleared up any rumors about the love lines.

Don’t misunderstand. We’re joking to make it funny, but many people are mistaken.

But the cast members have opened up about their actual relationships in the past. For instance, in a joking blind date episode, Song Ji Hyo revealed that she can’t stand “the awkward air that happens at blind dates.”

I don’t like the awkward air that happens at blind dates. As soon as I sit down, I start wanting to go home.

And the talented actress revealed that while many of her friends are settling down, she’s “meeting people at her own pace” and not out of a desire to get married.

Jeon So Min has also been honest about her past relationships, once confessing that she told her ex-boyfriend to change his number, which he surprisingly responded to.

I requested something of him. I told him, ‘I don’t have the willpower to forget your number so you should change your number.’

I tried really hard not to call him, and I even erased his number from my phone, but his number remained in my head so I asked him ‘Please change your number.’

In a recent Running Man episode, Jeon So Min once again opened up about an ex-boyfriend. She explained that she had a frustrating encounter when she unexpectedly ran into him.

After the staff asked the members what they would do if they ran into an ex as part of a game, the cast members were shocked by how quickly Jeon So Min answered that she would “spit [out of disdain].”

So, of course, Yoo Jae Suk asked if she’d ever experienced this before, to which Jeon So Min explained that she tried to be “cool” and greeted her ex.

I’ll tell you what happened. I acted cool and said hi to him.

And while her ex-boyfriend definitely noticed her…

Then he saw me. He has good eyesight. He looked at me for a while.

He pretended that he didn’t recognize the actress!

Which was, of course, incredibly frustrating to Jeon So Min.

I got so upset.

To make matters worse, she was with her friends at the time, and her ex-boyfriend even decided to wink at her friend.

I was with my friends. He got even cheekier. After he ignored me, his eyes met my friend’s eyes. My friend said that he had winked at her like this.

Needless to say, the whole cast agreed that it was terrible behavior.
