2016’s 10 Most Amazing K-Pop Idol Covers of English Songs
It’s always great to hear your favorite K-Pop star perform their own songs, but there’s something very special and impressive about hearing them perform their own rendition of English pop songs.
2016 brought about a lot of amazing covers from many K-Pop stars. There are a few that really stood out, however, so here are the top 10 English covers by K-Pop stars for 2016!
10. Jessica– “How Deep is Your Love”
Our favorite ‘ice princess’ showed us that she’s still got it, with her cover of Calvin Harris & Disciples‘s song at her Shanghai fanmeet.
9. DEAN – “Ordinary People”
DEAN’s performance of Jong Legend‘s “Ordinary People” at KBS Sketchbook left the audience in awe.
8. Hyuk – “Love Yourself”
VIXX‘s Hyuk showed off his smooth vocals in his cover of Justin Bieber‘s “Love Yourself”.
7. Henry -“Pillowtalk”
Not only does Henry cover Zayn’s song flawlessly, but he does it while playing the piano.
6. Eric Nam & Sungha Jung – “Stitches”
This duo killed their rendition of Shawn Mendes’s song with their acoustic take.
5. Wendy & Seulgi – “Who You Are” / “I Have Nothing”
These two Red Velvet members once again proved that they’re more than just pretty faces with their covers of Jessie J‘s “Who You Are” and Whitney Houston‘s “I Have Nothing” on KBS Sketchbook.
4. Chanyeol & D.O – “Love Yourself”
The boys of EXO gave fans a treat with their version of Justin Bieber’s “Love Yourself”. This isn’t the first time these two have covered a JB song. Back in 2015, they covered “Boyfriend”.

BTS‘s maknae’s cover of Justin Bieber’s “Nothing Like Us” will leave you in awe with emotional vocals.

These guys are no joke. DAY6 performed their own Acoustic version of Maroon‘s “She Will Be Loved” so beautifully.
