SBS “Inkigayo” Cameraman Goes Viral For His Dedication To Get The Perfect Shot For K-Pop Performances
When it comes to K-Pop music shows, idols put in a lot of hard work to create performances netizens will be in awe of. Everything is meticulously planned, from the choreography, styling, and set. Yet, one key player in the show is sometimes underrated, and it is the cameraman!
Recently, one cameraman from SBS‘s Inkigayo has gone viral after fans praised him for the work and dedication shown when filming idols!
Online, netizens started a forum talking about this specific cameraman on the show and couldn’t help praise him for his lengths to ensure the performances looked amazing. In particular, they looked at some recent girl group performances shot by him and showcased how flawless the broadcast was and how he achieved it.
The first one was a recent performance by Kep1er and their track “WA DA DA.” While the members were in formation, the camera zoomed in on Dayeon doing her bit, and the camera perfectly moved in time to the beat…
Yet, it wasn’t just a matter of setting the camera to work itself. The cameraman was physically moving up and down in time to the music to make sure everything worked in harmony.
In fact, many netizens pointed out that it looked as if the cameraman was dancing along with idols as he shot the performances. This reason made the broadcast look so epic and fit perfectly with the song.
Even while filming for NCT, the cameraman kept his cool while basically performing the choreography with the members.
Most people assume with technology advancing that something like zooming in and out is all down to pushing buttons… WRONG! Another rookie girl group who has been blessed with being recorded by this legendary cameraman is IVE during a recent performance of “ELEVEN.”
When it was time to zoom in on Leeseo, it seemed effortless done and like it was done by technology…
In fact, the cameraman moved the camera closer to the idol and even managed an effortless swoop.
During a performance by EVERGLOW, when the cameraman wanted to zoom in on a member, he physically moved the camera over Aisha to get the shot.
As expected, when the post went viral, netizens couldn’t stop praising the cameraman for everything he’s been doing and how much hard work is put into each performance.
- “Wow… Does the camera team also need to practice dancing? It is seriously awesome.”
- “This must be so heavy, but they’re able to bounce with it. This is crazy… They’re hardworking.”
- “Wow, it’s like they’re dancing together.”
Yet, it isn’t the first time cameramen have become the center of attention. Another cameraman who knows the meaning of hard work is the person who films BTS‘s Jungkook . Since debuting, he has had to run after Jungkook on multiple occasions…
Once again, it shows that there is a hardworking cameraman who deserves so much credit and admiration for every amazing performance and shot.
