Filming for this year’s Idol Star Athletic Championships is well underway and cameras have already caught some hilarious interactions like this one where EXO‘s Sehun mistook SEVENTEEN‘s Jeonghan for NCT‘s Johnny.
ISAC is a chance for K-Pop idols to compete in various sports and connect with their fellow idols in a very relaxed setting. For EXO’s Sehun, however, ISAC gave him the chance to connect with an idol in a completely unexpected way. During the event, Sehun began a conversation with SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan believing him to be NCT’s Johnny due to their similar hairstyles. When Johnny turned to face Sehun, he quickly realized his mistake and awkwardly walked away.
Once Sehun stepped away, Jeonghan turned to MONSTA X and told the members about his encounter with him.
Although it was quite an awkward encounter, the two appear to have laughed it off and haven’t let it affect the friendship between them or their groups.
