SEVENTEEN‘s Joshua has gained attention for handling an onstage wardrobe malfunction.
On November 23, SEVENTEEN was among the many groups that attended the 2024 MAMA Awards. In addition to taking home five awards, SEVENTEEN performed during the event.
For their stage, the group were dressed in all black outfits, with each member having their own twist. Watching the live performance, you might not have noticed that Joshua suffered a wardrobe malfunction!
Joshua began the performance wearing a black leather jacket he was no longer wearing by the end.
This is because the inner part of Joshua’s pants ripped open at some point during the performance, exposing his inner thigh. Near the beginning of “Ash,” Joshua can be seen removing his jacket and tying it around his waist in the background.
The reason for this was quickly revealed during the song’s chorus, when Joshua was front and center. A long rip can be seen in his pants, revealing what he has on underneath.
The idol continued the entire performance, with the rip not being seen at many points because of his quick thinking and his holding on to his pants. However, another angle reveals that the other side of his pants also ripped during “Love, Money, Fame.”
The incident didn’t bother Joshua very much, as after the performance he was seen showing S.Coups and laughing about it.
