SHINee’s Key And Apink’s Bomi Expose Their Thoughts On Marriage And Ideal Types While Becoming Friends
Apink‘s Bomi recently invited SHINee‘s Key as her latest guest on her YouTube series Let’s Eat Together Today. The two playfully joked around during the episode, agreeing at the end that they felt like they could become friends.
While eating, the two talked about everything from trips with their families to their thoughts on marriage. While the two agreed that trips with families can be challenging, since the nostalgia you have for family vacations doesn’t necessarily align with a trip once you’re all adults, they had different views on marriage.
When Bomi asked Key if he was dating anyone, the idol instantly replied, “No.”
Which was also his answer when Bomi asked if he is “thinking of getting married.”
But Key was quick to specify that he doesn’t mean he never wants to get married, just that he currently doesn’t have plans for it since he isn’t dating.
He also shared that he “[thinks] it’s better to get married only once” and not marry someone only to end up divorced.
Which Bomi disagreed with. Rather than not wanting to get divorced, Bomi argued that it is better to have at least been married and get divorced than not to get married.
The two also disagreed about what’s important regarding their ideal types. First, Key explains that people tend to assume he wants to date someone who is a fashion expert, which, while he does have some limits to their sense of fashion, he doesn’t actually care about.
Meanwhile, Bomi explained that the most important trait in a partner for her is that they share the same values.
Key disagreed with this since, for him, the two will need time to understand each other anyway.
