The Heartwarming Reason Why SHINee's Key Loves A Certain NCT Member The Most

SHINee‘s Key is one of the oldest K-Pop idols under SM Entertainment. He debuted in 2008 with “Replay” and is now successfully releasing solo content. Since then, several boy groups have debuted after him in the company including EXO, NCT, and RIIZE.

In a recent interview with GOT7‘s BamBam, he was asked to name his favorite dongsaeng or the younger celebrity he looks after most fondly.

Though Key and BamBam have also been close for several years now, the former chose someone else as his top pick.

This response surprised the Thai singer, with him exclaiming, “Oh, I didn’t expect that.” Key’s reasoning was surprisingly heartwarming. He explained that there were few artists in the company who had a personality just “like [him].”

Before there were some artists like me, someone who fits Key’s style, I don’t think SM had those type of idols. He made me think about myself in the past.
