Fan Dancing With SHINee's Taemin At KCON Goes Viral For "Mesmerizing" Visuals & Charisma

The weekend of KCON LA 2024 has just begun, and there have already been so many iconic performances, but it’s not just the stars who are attracting attention. On the first night of the event, a fan dancing on stage with SHINee‘s Taemin went viral across social media after she stunned viewers with her looks and stage presence.

The fan was part of Taemin’s Dream Stage performance, a KCON staple that sees hundreds of hopefuls compete for the chance to share the spotlight with their favorite artist during a performance. This year, the track Taemin danced to with fans was none other than megahit “Move.”

All the fans who were given the opportunity gave an amazing performance, but one in particular has thousands of people transfixed. Shortly after the stage, ZEROBASEONE fan on TikTok uploaded a clip of the performance captioned “HER!” and the comments soon began flooding in.

Immediately, fellow TikTok users began asking if anyone could find the fan’s name, remarking how “mesmerizing” she looked on stage. “SHE’S SO FINE,” remarked one, while another joked, “JUST ONE CHANCE PLS.” The clip spread like wildfire across platforms, amassing over 300,000 views on TikTok in just over 12 hours and more than 20,000 likes on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Ever the detectives, fans soon worked out who the performer was: 22-year-old Alexa Woo, a popular dancer with over 120,000 followers on Instagram. Many already knew Alexa, also known as Lex, for her impressive dance covers of K-Pop songs.

This also isn’t the first time she’s performed at KCON LA: her dance group got the chance to open at the event last year.

Just as sweet as a real idol, Alexa commented on the TikTok video of her performance with, “thats me!!🤭💕 thank you for recording love🫶🏻.” Earlier that day, she shared on her Instagram story that getting the opportunity to perform with Taemin “doesn’t feel real.”
