“Taemin?”—Actress Han So Hee’s Instagram Is Confusing Netizens Again
Another popular male K-Pop idol made an accidental “cameo” on actress Han So Hee‘s Instagram.
Previously, netizens mistook actress Lim Eun Kyung for BTS‘s Jungkook when Han So Hee shared behind-the-scenes photos from the 2004 movie The Doll Master, which she revealed was the first movie of her life.
Considering Han So Hee is now confirmed to star in Jungkook’s “Seven” music video, it seems ironic now. Yet, he is not the only K-Pop idol that netizens initially mistook to be featured on the actress’ Instagram.
In February, she shared some photos, and netizens could not help but think they were seeing SHINee‘s Taemin!
Of course, it was not Taemin, though. It’s actually actress Rie Young Zin (also known as Lee Young Jin).
Han So Hee shared stills from the 1999 South Korean horror film Memento Mori (also known as Girl’s High School), the second installment of the Whispering Corridors film series. It’s also one of the first commercial Korean films to feature LGBTQIA+ characters as the girl students became romantically involved.
In this second installment of the Whispering Corridors series, a young girl finds a strange diary, capable of arousing hallucinations, kept by two of her senior fellow-students who seem to have an unusually close bond.

Wow, if we had a nickel for every time netizens mistook a classic actress featured on Han So Hee’s Instagram for a male K-Pop idol, we’d have two nickels – which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
