Sisters Lee Chaeyeon And ITZY’s Chaeryeong Aren’t The Only Performers In Their Family
ITZY kicked off 2024 with the release of their second full-length album, Born To Be, on January 8.
ITZY’s Chaeryeong recently appeared on the popular musical talk show Leemujin Service, hosted by soloist Lee Mujin, to celebrate their comeback.
During the episode, Chaeryeong showed off her vocal talents with three song covers and one stripped-down performance of ITZY’s newest title track, “Untouchable.”
The talented ITZY member also discussed how she became a trainee, what the training system was like at JYP Entertainment, and opened up about her talented family members.
ITZY’s Chaeryeong and her older sister Lee Chaeyeon pursued their idol careers together, appearing on multiple television talent programs before Lee Chaeyeon debuted with IZ*ONE in 2018 and Chaeryeong debuted with ITZY in 2019.
Chaeryeong and Chaeyeon also have a younger sister who is currently studying Korean dance in school, but the three siblings aren’t the only talented family members.
When asked about her parents, Chaeryeong revealed that her mom is also a dancer and even attended the same dance institute as the ITZY member.
Chaeryeong shared that she was able to watch her mom dance, although they were in different classes, and she felt she had talent.
Talent runs in the family!
