Song Joong Ki Gets Reunited With A Special Fan After 11 Years
Recently, actor Song Joong Ki was reunited with an old fan he had met 11 years ago and still remembered!
On March 22, KST, Song Joong Ki was spotted at the Dodgers and Padres game with his wife, Katy Louise Saunders, on a rare public date, taking the internet by storm.
However, there was another special moment involving Song Joong Ki and a longtime fan whom he met after over a decade at this game. The fan in question is a girl named Hong Hwa Ri, who first met Song in 2013, shortly before he enlisted in the military.
Hong, who is the daughter of former baseball player Hong Seun Heun, met Song Joong Ki on the eve of his military enlistment accidentally while at an oriental medicine clinic when she was just eight years old. Her mother, model Kim Jeon Im, posted the throwback on her Instagram account and mentioned that even after being discharged from the military, Song Joong Ki remembered his little fangirl and sent her a photo from the set of Descendants of the Sun through the show’s director.
Kim also posted a heartwarming video of the two reunited at the recent game. Song Joong Ki, who was surprised to see his fan so grown up, gave her the warmest hug as she hid her face with excitement.
Meanwhile, Hong Hwa Ri is currently a child actress, having appeared in K-Dramas like Wonderful Days and Oh My Venus. Her mother expressed her dream of seeing Song Joong Ki and her daughter together on screen someday!
