Stray Kids’ Changbin Disagrees With Hyunjin About The Killing Part Of His “Artist Of The Month” Performance
Recently Stray Kids filmed a video message for Stays, thanking them for their support as they set a record for their “God’s Menu” performance on STUDIO CHOOM.
Their iconic video hit 50 million views in 558 days, the first of STUDIO CHOOM’s performance videos to do so.
Stray Kids’ Lee Know and Han attributed the video’s success to STUDIO CHOOM’s staffs’ passion. How they even gave the members advice on how to look at the camera and made sure to both cheer up the members while filming and give them sufficient time to rest.
Hyunjin added that the high frame rate of STUDIO CHOOM’s videos sets them apart from other performance videos, leading to high-quality content that fans will want to watch.
But the group also focused on their other performances at STUDIO CHOOM.
They’d also recorded their performances of “Double Knot,” “Side Effects,” and “Thunderous” before.
Along with their personal favorite, Hyunjin’s iconic “Artist Of The Month” video to Post Malone‘s “Motley Crew.”
The rest of the members immediately chimed in with how when Hyunjin’s video came out, they all got together to watch it on a big screen together.
And, of course, they all had to share their favorite parts of the video.
Most of the members agreed that the “bang!” scene when Hyunjin uses his fingers to replicate shooting a gun which transitions into a costume change, was the most iconic.
Members I.N, Seungmin, Felix, Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han even excitedly mimicked it.
But Bang Chan added that he thought the isolations that came right after the “bang” move were his personal favorite. Even jokingly replicating the intricate movements.
And the staff then asked Hyunjin to pick his favorite part of the dance, to which he didn’t hesitate to answer that his favorite part was the beginning while wearing a hat.
Changbin almost seemed offended at the thought, protesting that Hyunjin’s “face is not shown well” because of the hat.
But that was exactly why Hyunjin picked that scene, believing that it “was something new to” him. To have fans only “watch [him] dance instead of [just his] face.”
And once he’d explained his logic, even Changbin couldn’t disagree. Admitting that the “message is cool.”
