Stray Kids Are Loud AF, Even Fans Are Surprised
Stray Kids is made up of talented members who can sing, rap, dance, and produce music. They’re also loud AF; their recent SKZ CODE episode proves it.
Stray Kids’ recent SKZ CODE episodes, “Midnight Amusement Park” part one and two, had the group visit Lotte World to relieve stress. Divided into two teams, they conquered different missions.
One of the games had the teams find out who was the loudest by having them board the Pirate Ship ride and use a sound meter to measure their screams.
Team Gomkki (Hyunjin, Changbin, Seungmin, and Felix) went first, minus Felix, who performed the MC duties instead of riding the rides due to his back injury at the time.
With Changin’s powerful voice, the team achieved 125.9 dB.
Next up was team Hori Bang (I.N, Lee Know, Han, and Bang Chan), who was confident with Lee Know’s vocal strength and I.N’s famous dolphin scream.
Lee Know, known to have a fear of heights, seemed more concerned with that than the volume they could achieve as a group.
He even turned quite red.
Diligent maknae I.N reminded the team that they needed to scream into the sound meter, which Lee Know did with passion.
The other team even doubted themselves after hearing how loud Lee Know was.
After both teams went, it was time to reveal the final numbers. Team Gomkki was able to reach 125.9 dB.
Anticipation was high as the group waited for Hori Bang’s score.
But with Lee Know’s scream, the team won the challenge with a volume of 127.7 dB.
Fans were surprised after hearing these numbers. Prolonged exposure to this level of noise can even cause hearing damage.
i just found out that minbin's screams are as loud as the sound of a plane taking off and that being subjected to their screams for more than 3/4 consecutive seconds could cause hearing loss or damage pic.twitter.com/UaLZWAMgKW

But, it’s not even the loudest the group has measured, with I.N’s screams once reaching 132.9 dB, as some fans pointed out! These kids are loud.
One Redditor was shocked by how loud Stray Kids are, adding that all their content should come with a “RIP headphone users” warning.
Earlier in the day at Lotte World, Lee Know had used his volume to his advantage as he attempted to complete a solo mission. His goal was to hear the words “be quiet” from another member. It’s easy to see why he succeeded.
lee know had to hear "be quiet" from another member to win his solo mission so he started screaming and succeeded right away ㅋㅋㅋ pic.twitter.com/FowZJk1YjF

Considering how loud the group is, it makes sense that the mission of relieving stress at Lotte World didn’t quite go as planned. You can check out why here.
