“Street Woman Fighter 2” Bada Lee Chooses Her Favorite K-Pop Choreographies
Soloist Lee Chaeyeon returned with another episode of her talk show Inssadong Sulzzi and her most recent guest was famous dancer and choreographer, Bada Lee.
During the episode, Lee Chaeyeon had Bada Lee choose her favorite dances among the choreographies she’s created and participated in creating, giving her two songs to choose between with each round.
Bada Lee participated in the “Choreography World Challenge,” choosing the choreography that stood out to her the most or had memorable behind-the-scenes stories about its creation. Each decision was made with only the creation of the choreography in mind.
Check out her choices below!
1. “Rover” or “Illusion”
During round one, Bada Lee chose the memorable choreography for EXO Kai‘s 2023 hit solo single, “Rover,” as the dance that stood out to her most between it and aespa‘s “Illusion.”
She explained that she chose “Rover” because of her unforgettable experience working with choreographer JRick to create the dance and her opportunity to teach it to Kai.
2. “ZOO” or “Next Level”
For round two, Bada Lee faced another impossible choice when asked to choose between the choreography for “ZOO” by NCT‘s Jeno, Hendery, YangYang, Taeyong, and aespa‘s Giselle or aespa’s “Next Level.”
Bada Lee chose the viral choreography for “Next Level,” though it was another difficult decision for her. She explained that creating the choreography for “Next Level” was what made people take her seriously as a choreographer, and for that, she chose the iconic dance.
3. “Talk Saxy” or “Drama”
During the third round, Bada Lee was asked to choose between the choreography for RIIZE‘s “Talk Saxy” or aespa’s “Drama.”
The talented dancer chose aespa’s “Drama,” but admitted it was a difficult decision.
4. “MAVERICK” or “Smoke”
Finally, she was asked to choose between the choreography for THE BOYZ‘s “MAVERICK” or Dynamic Duo and Lee Young Ji‘s “Smoke.”
Bada Lee chose the choreography for “Smoke,” crediting it as the reason she gained even more popularity after the dance went extremely viral among K-Pop idols and netizens after she performed it on Street Woman Fighter 2.
