Here’s How To Succeed In Your BIGHIT MUSIC Audition, According To TXT
BIGHIT MUSIC Global Auditions are underway. If you’re nervous about the process, take it from those who have firsthand experience and made it: TXT.
If you’ve been even second-guessing about sending an application, don’t! It never hurts to try. TXT’s leader Soobin shared that he almost didn’t send his application, and look where he is now! Can you imagine if he hadn’t applied?
At first, I wasn’t going to send in my application, thinking ‘how in the world can I become an idol?’ However, the moment I sent an email for the audition with my photo, video, and application, my life changed forever. I’d like to remind you that one moment of determination can turn your life upside down and lead you to achieve your dream.
— Soobin
When it came time to audition, he was extremely nervous and even “shook like a leaf on stage,” but he focused on the camera and did his best!
Beomgyu also had some thoughtful advice for those who are planning to apply for BIGHIT MUSIC Global Audition. He hopes that everyone thinks seriously about it because it’s a truly life-changing decision and not one to be taken lightly.
It’s something that might change the course of your life, so I hope you think it through before jumping in. I hope people apply for the audition because they want to sing and dance for a living, not simply because of how cool and nice it looks on TV.
— Beomgyu
If you believe music is your passion, like TXT, but are experiencing anxiety, as did Soobin, Taehyun offered some heartfelt encouragement.
Every challenge is an experience, and you learn from failure. So if your dream is to become a singer, be sure to jump in and apply for the audition. Even if your efforts don’t always bear fruit right away, it doesn’t mean you’re not good enough, so keep on going.
— Taehyun
Hueningkai‘s #1 tip for a successful audition is to go into it with confidence!
You are applying to a position where you can express yourself the most, right? So in a way, I think it’s best if you apply with confidence thinking that this is a fun and meaningful experience.
— Hueningkai
Yeonjun agreed and said that you’ve done a lot in your journey for a successful music career just by applying. So, there’s nothing to be afraid of.
Yes. The fact that you are applying, that itself will be a big, meaningful step in your career. You are expressing yourself to people who are willing to listen to your stories. So, don’t be nervous, just do it!
— Yeonjun
Soobin gave specific advice to international applications. He acknowledged that it’s an even bigger decision when it’s someone traveling from far away, but he reassured that the company gives special time for those trying to make this decision.
Oh, and international applications! It is a huge decision to come to Korea and sign a trainee contract even if you pass the audition. So if you’re contemplating whether you should or not, BIGHIT MUSIC has a unique offering a testing period where you can experience and practice the trainee culture during the vacation before the contract.
— Soobin
If you’re interested in applying for BIGHIT MUSIC Global Audition, any man born after 2002 is eligible to participate.
