Super Junior’s Leeteuk Once Got Blasted By Girl Group Member On National TV For Sliding Into Her DMs

Back in January 2010, T-ARA‘s Hyomin appeared on Strong Heart, a beloved SBS show where K-Celebrities battled to tell the most entertaining story.

When it was her turn to share a tale, Hyomin revealed she had received a Cyworld private message from a K-Pop idol in her pre-debut time. Then, to everyone’s surprise, she added that the idol was on set with her!

When she turned to Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and asked what the message was about, Leeteuk scrambled to explain himself.

According to Hyomin, Leeteuk had messaged her asking, “Why would you swear at me like that?” Not knowing who he was or what he meant, Hyomin thought she was hacked at first. But soon, she came to realize the sender was Leeteuk.

Leeteuk admitted that he did indeed message Hyomin. How he found her Cyworld page, though, was completely by accident. He looked up “Park Sun Young” after reading a news headline about SBS’s reporter Park Sun Young. The search pulled up Hyomin, whose legal name is Park Sun Young, and Leeteuk looked through Hyomin’s page.

He even admitted that he was particularly intrigued by a picture of her playing the keyboard. At first, Leeteuk tried blaming his Super Junior teammate Donghae for convincing him to send the message. Donghae had become interested in Hyomin and asked Leeteuk to introduce him to her.

But soon enough, after Hyomin demanded an answer as to if he was ever really interested in her, Leeteuk admitted that he definitely thought Hyomin was beautiful, too!

No real romance or even dating rumors came from Leeteuk and Hyomin. But Strong Heart viewers will always remember how adorably flustered Leeteuk became when Hyomin did not hesitate one second to blast him on camera!
