An Old Clip Of T-ARA’s Jiyeon “Protecting” IU Resurfaces, And It Shows Just How Sweet They Are To Each Other On A Daily Basis
T-ARA‘s Jiyeon and IU are best friend goals! Ever since they filmed SBS‘ Heroes together in 2010, they have been sharing tidbits of their friendship to the public—and each new one is precious.
Recently, this was exemplified during the wedding of Jiyeon to baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun. They tied the knot last December 10 in a private ceremony attended only by close family and friends.
IU was definitely in the category of close friends. They did not forget to snap a photo together prior to the wedding and hang out even during the ceremony itself.
In response to their friendship making headlines, an old clip of the two is resurfacing. It showed just how natural it is for them to look out for each other on a daily basis.
Here, Jiyeon and IU were seen posing in front of numerous reporters. The former noticed something amiss when she looked to her left and she immediately saddled up closer to her friend.
In order to protect IU from a possible wardrobe malfunction, she draped the end of her coat over her legs even if it was not particularly long as well. This way, her short dress had extra protection and her body was at least partially hidden away from the prying eyes of the public.
It seemed like the most natural thing for Jiyeon to do! IU also appreciated the gesture and made sure to not let her kindness go unnoticed. She held on tightly to the fabric while the two continued to pose in front of the cameras.
From then until now, their friendship is as sweet as can be!
