Thai Husband Learns Lesson Of A Lifetime After Accidentally Leaving Wife Stranded In A Jungle
We all make mistakes in life, but one man from Thailand made one so big that he potentially jeopardized his own marriage! It all started when Boontom Chaimoon, 55, and his wife, Amnuay Chaimoon, 49, decided to go on a road trip to spend the holidays in Maha Sarakham province, her hometown.
Boontom was driving when he pulled over to the side of the road for a bathroom break. Since it was 3am in the morning, he didn’t notice that his wife had also exited the car. Without any restroom in the countryside area, she decided to walk to a nearby jungle to relieve herself.
Unfortunately, when Amnuay returned, her husband was nowhere to be found. He had left her stranded in the middle of nowhere! Worse, she didn’t even have her phone with her as she had left it in the car.
Frightened and alone, she decided to walk until she could find help. She managed to cover a whopping 20km distance before reaching the Kabin Buri district by 5am where she sought help from local police who let her use their phone.
But the ordeal didn’t end there. She quickly realized that she couldn’t remember her husband’s phone number. She repeatedly dialed her own phone, to no response. Finally, by 8am, the police assisted her in reconnecting with Boontom, who had driven about 100 miles to the Korat province without ever realizing that she was gone. During entire drive, he had assumed that she was sleeping soundly in the backseat.
Without a moment’s hesitation, he turned his car around and drove to the police station, deeply apologetic for his mistake. Surprisingly, she didn’t argue with him when he arrived. They had been married for 27 years and even have a 26-year-old son together, so she is no stranger to marital surprises!
