While Jung Yun Ha has received acclaim for her acting skills, she has been battling cancer.
Previously, Jung Yun Ha announced her diagnosis in May. In a deleted Instagram post, she wrote, “About a year and three months ago, I was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery. A post-surgery biopsy showed a benign tumor, but now the cancer is back.” She added, “I’m returning home after seeking a second opinion. The tests were not good, and I have many thoughts today. I’m sharing this because I can’t suffer in silence alone. Please understand if I’m less responsive.”

Now, Jung Yun Ha has opened up about her life since the diagnosis. She was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support she received from people. Jung also revealed that she has received good treatment and has become much healthier.
I was really surprised when I saw the news. It was something I had never experienced before. I received support from so many people. My family was also shocked. I was amazed by how many people I didn’t even know were supporting me.
Since then, I’ve been receiving good treatment, and I’m healthier now. A lot of things have become clearer and simpler.
It made me think a lot about myself. I began to reflect on who I am, and not only my health, but also what I like, and what makes me uncomfortable. I realized I hadn’t really thought about how I truly felt about food, my relationships with family, and my relationships with others. As I reflected, I began to establish new standards for myself.
It’s been a really busy year. There have been good things and also personal health struggles, but everything passes. As they say, ‘It’s better that way,’ and I actually think it’s true. I feel like I’ve become stronger and a little bit happier.
