TWICE May Have Accidentally Revealed They Have A Separate Group Chat Without Their Leader

TWICE were recently guests on Idol Human Theater, where they showed their fun and witty personalities as well as their close friendship.

The group just returned with their 11th mini-album, Between 1 & 2, and are promoting their title track, “Talk That Talk.” Their return marks their first domestic comeback since all nine members announced they renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment.

The members were thrilled to share the news of their contract renewals with their fans, ONCE.

As much as the group’s renewal meant to ONCE, the TWICE members also acknowledged how meaningful it was for them to continue their time together.

While talking on Idol Human Theater, Chaeyoung mentioned she came across a teary-eyed selfie of Jeongyeon while searching the web as articles came out about the group’s contract renewal.

TWICE had just finished jokingly exposing Jeongyeon for being difficult to reach after planning to join Momo, Mina, Sana, and Jihyo at a music show recording for Nayeon‘s “POP!” during the first week of her promotions.

While she could not make it during the first week, she made sure to visit Nayeon during the second week of her promotions. She also went to visit the set of Nayeon’s music video filming with Jihyo and Dahyun, showering the group’s oldest member with plenty of love and appreciation.

The story reminded Chaeyoung about finding the crying selfie Jeongyeon took.

When Chaeyoung was describing the photo, Momo responded, “Oh right, Chaeyoung said she’d sent it to me.” Sana chimed in and said she thought the photo was sent in their group chat.

While the other members didn’t say anything, Jihyo must have realized she didn’t receive the photo in TWICE’s group chat and concluded that another group chat existed without her.

While the other members laughed, Nayeon stood up to playfully motion for them to stay quiet.

When asked about the moment she found out about the “secret group chat,” Jihyo shared she was surprised, while Nayeon added, “It got revealed because of Idol Human Theater.”

There’s never a dull moment being the leader of a nine-member group, but their strong bond proves it’s all love between the members.
