TWICE’s Chaeyoung Sent Somi A New Year’s Blessing And Didn’t Get A Reply
In a new video uploaded to their YouTube channel, the members of TWICE welcomed the new year by competing with each other in various challenges.
Alongside flipping bottles, guessing celebrities, and tasting ramen, the first challenge for the members was to text someone a New Year’s blessing and receive one in return. The first member to get a reply would win.
While most members sent messages to their family members, and Jihyo cleverly sent hers to their manager, Chaeyoung chose soloist Somi.
Since Somi was a former JYP Entertainment trainee, even competing on the show SIXTEEN, she and Chaeyoung have a close friendship. But even this close friendship could not guarantee a response from the busy soloist.
After the challenge was over, Chaeyoung complained that she “didn’t even get a reply.”
The idol continued to tease that Somi’s “not even that busy these days.”
And while we cannot know if Somi ever sent a reply back to Chaeyoung, we do know that these two idols have a wonderful friendship anyone would be jealous of.
