TWICE’s Dahyun, Girls’ Generation’s Yuri & Sunmi Wore The Same Dress But Served Completely Different Vibes
TWICE‘s Dahyun, Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri, and soloist Sunmi have such distinct styles, they even look completely different in the same outfits. Recently, all three stars wore the same dress, but each of them pulled it off in her own unique way.
The dress in question is a check tweed piece from Balmain. Retailing for around $2,400 USD, this wool-blend mini-dress boasts a slim and tailored silhouette with 80s-style shoulder pads and striking gold buttons.
TWICE’s Dahyun wore the dress in an Instagram upload posted back in April this year. While her shoe choice was hidden, she did wear her hair in a softly tousled side braid.
Dahyun brought TWICE’s youthful vibe to her version of the look. Combined with her pure and innocent visuals, her loose and casual hair made her outfit look sweet and picnic-perfect.
Girls’ Generation’s Yuri wore the dress to a promotional event for her newest K-Drama, MBN‘s Bossam: Steal the Fate, in May this year. She paired the dress with white pointed-toe heels and a slicked-back ponytail.
By wearing her hair so straight, Yuri accentuated the square lines of the dress, giving her a mature and perfectly put-together vibe in her version of the look. With her style, Yuri gives the dress a retro CEO edge.
Last but not least, Sunmi was one of the first to wear the dress, showing it off in Instagram snaps back in February. She added black pointed-toe heels and wore her hair down and loose.
Sunmi’s red lipstick and nails accentuated the classy style of the dress and gave her a classy, doll-like vibe akin to a glamorous Hollywood movie star.
