TWICE’s Tzuyu Never Thought She Would Be Nayeon’s Friend But Now They Have The Most Endearing Friendship
TWICE‘s Nayeon and Tzuyu recently went on a date together, filming themselves going to a restaurant Tzuyu recommended and eating together while talking.
Although both members were slightly worried that the meal would be a little awkward since neither of them had ever gone to a restaurant with just one of their members before…
… although Tzuyu confessed that she had been with just two others…
… The two friends ended up having some really good conversations with each other. Which included both of them talking about the time they first met and what they initially thought of each other.
While Tzuyu doesn’t immediately remember when she first met Nayeon, Nayeon remembers instantly. She says that Tzuyu had short hair back when they first met at “the first evaluation day since [Tzuyu] joined [their] company.”
And while that was the first time Nayeon saw her, the first time that Nayeon felt interested in who Tzuyu was was when they started filming SIXTEEN, a survival show created by JYP Entertainment and Mnet in order to create TWICE.
Nayeon asks Tzuyu if she remembers that they were even partnered up to be on the same team during SIXTEEN.
Since, according to Nayeon, that is when the two of them started to truly get close to each other.
Meanwhile, Tzuyu’s first impression of Nayeon formed during their monthly evaluation.
Since Tzuyu was a new trainee at the time and Nayeon had been with JYP Entertainment for a while, Tzuyu thought she was “really pretty and really cool.”
Nayeon points out that even though the two of them used to be “always together, every single day” as trainees, they never actually argued.
And that because of all the time they spent together, they were able to become such close friends.
Tzuyu even mentions that despite how well they got along as trainees, they probably wouldn’t be as close friends if they hadn’t both been chosen to debut in TWICE.
Especially since Nayeon was older than Tzuyu and “already scheduled to have [her] debut.”
So Tzuyu could have never imagined that she would become so close with the trainee she once admired.
