TXT’s Choreography Is All About The Concepts, Here’s How
TXT‘s music style is different, and their choreography is a reflection of that. Here’s how one of their choreographers sets it apart.
Nick Joseph is a dancer that recently spent time working as a choreographer with HYBE artists. He has previously worked with BTS and ENHYPEN, but shared that TXT was the main team he worked with while spending time in Korea.
The first project he worked on while there was TXT’s “Frost,” specifically the chorus.
For this dance, the concept was the most important thing. Nick says, “I think I just wanted them to feel more within the character than, like, killing choreography.”
TXT have, “a very special music style,” that often incorporates rock elements, so this was a different avenue for them. The concept of “Frost” is a bit grungier than their usual concepts, and TXT totally nailed it.
Nick also shared that TXT are super strong dancers. It’s evident in the piece.
The choreography tells the story of the concept, and TXT execute it perfectly!
