TXT Lived Off Of These Convenience Store And Cafeteria Items During Their Trainee Days
In a recent vlog, the members of TXT reminisced about their trainee days while sitting in HYBE‘s new and improved cafeteria!
They talked about going out to Burger King after practice, getting “Jellyade,” eating bread from Paris Baguette, and going to KFC.
Taehyun said, “Things have gotten so good,” which prompted Beomgyu to go on a whole rant about how things were different back in his day!
Back in my day, ah… I could never imagine this. We’d just order food back then — we’d order the cheapest, stone pot bibimbap.

They were super conscious of their spendings back then, only letting themselves splurge on extra cheese or a $7 dish if they saved a bit the day before.
Yeonjun quickly stepped in, as the eldest of the group, to bring up his trainee day meals! He hilariously one-upped them by saying bibimbap isn’t even that bad.
Bimbimbap isn’t that bad. Back in my day, we’d go to the convenience store and eat matsal since we’re on a diet. We’d eat matsal and go, ‘So tasty!’

They also used to love strawberry sandwiches! Judging from his reaction, Hueningkai was a huge fan of those. Soobin mentioned that the “Inkigayo sandwich” was also super popular at the time!
The sandwiches were so popular that trainees would rush to get one before they sold out; the members even asked a worker what time they release the sandwiches so they could make sure to be there on time.
