TXT’s Yeonjun Names The Event That Made Him So Happy He “Could’ve Died Then And There” And The Reason Why He Thought So

It was definitely memorable!

TXT has had many points in their career that were causes for celebration. From winning first place on music shows to bagging endorsement deals left and right, they have been rewarded for their hard work over the years.

Every other pleasant memory, however, paled in comparison to a recent event that they attended: Lollapalooza. On July 30, TXT made headlines when they became the first ever K-Pop group to perform at the annual music festival held in Chicago, USA.

They impressed attendees with eight live performances of their hit songs ranging from “Good Boy Gone Bad” to “Anti-Romantic.”

Yeonjun, in particular, couldn’t stop gushing about the concert. He told Weverse Magazine that he was so happy with the crowd and overall experience, he could have departed from the earth that day with no regrets if it were really his time to go.

I could’ve died then and there and it would’ve been fine. I just kept going.

— Yeonjun

He was notably exhausted but in a good way: “I was drenched in sweat, but I kept performing like crazy and it was exhilarating.”

Performing there was something he did not know would become a reality.

I was so amazed. It was like something out of a dream.

— Yeonjun

For the group as a whole, they were at the peak of their excitement when their TikTok-famous song, “Anti-Romantic,” played. Yeonjun, Taehyun, Soobin, Hueningkai, and Beomgyu all agreed that it was the best part of the show because of their fans.

I felt less nervous by then and could really see the fans, waving their hands all together as one and singing along with us

— Yeonjun

Taehyun stepped in to say that they loved the audience’s reaction. It was a big deal to them that they appreciated the group’s music and artistry.

Everyone was grooving along together, and I could tell they honestly loved our music.

— Taehyun

For TXT, their Lollapalooza experience was “the best day ever.”
