TXT’s Taehyun Notices A Meaningful Change In How International MOAs Interact With The Group
TXT‘s Taehyun and Beomgyu were recently featured in ELLE Korea‘s April 2023 issue and took netizens’ breath away with their stunning visuals in their photoshoot.
The group is currently busy traveling the globe on their second world tour, ACT: Sweet Mirage. TXT has already stunned audiences with their elaborate stage design, incredible performance, and a setlist stacked with their biggest hits.
Their continued success has taken the group’s fame to even greater heights. From becoming the first K-Pop group to perform and become headliners at Lollapalooza to appearing at the 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs) to making Billboard history last year, they continue to solidify their well-earned global impact.
As their stages get bigger and their schedules cover more ground across the globe, TXT has more opportunities than ever to meet MOAs.
During the pandemic, video call fan sign events became the primary way idols met with fans. Since many travel restrictions have been lifted and idols have returned to in-person events, video call fan signs have remained popular.
The video calls give international fans who normally wouldn’t be able to travel and meet their favorite idol now have an opportunity to possibly meet them from the comfort of their own home, often through raffles or album purchases.
In their interview with ELLE Korea, Beomgyu and Taehyun opened up about their growing popularity and the impact it has had on their global impact and their mindset.
Beomgyu reflected on the group’s success and shared that it has only encouraged him to work harder and not become complacent.
Throughout this past promotion, I often told myself, ‘I need to work harder. This is only the beginning.’ I also thought about how I shouldn’t be complacent but become more humble. I think that’s how you become motivated to climb higher.

For Taehyun, he’s noticed a change in fans’ interactions with the group, particularly international fans. This has led him to a meaningful realization that his impact on fans is larger than he expected.
Instead of asking us to do particular things, foreign fans tell us, ‘My life changed thanks to you, thank you.’ I realized that I have more influence on people than I thought, so I’m trying to become more responsible.
