The Unexpected Concert Experience Sakura Had In AKB48 That Is Impossible With LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM recently made their comeback with their third EP, EASY, which has already made an impact on fans with its five new songs and hard-hitting choreography.
To celebrate the comeback, members Chaewon and Sakura sat down with popular comedian and MC Yoo Jae Suk for his YouTube program Pinggyego.
During the episode, the LE SSERAFIM members discussed the early days of their idol careers, how it felt to be in a group together for the second time, and more.
Before debuting with LE SSERAFIM, Sakura was an active member of famous J-Pop groups HKT48 and AKB48, and K-Pop group IZ*ONE with Chaewon.
Yoo Jae Suk commented that it must be “difficult” being in a group, but Sakura shared that she was “used to it” now.
However, there is one thing that has been easier about being in LE SSERAFIM as opposed to her time in AKB48, according to Sakura.
Sakura admitted that when she was promoting with AKB48, there were 300 members of the supergroup, which included members of its sister groups (HKT48, NMB48, SKE48, NGT48, and STU48), and at concerts, there would be members she had never met before.
Sakura shared that now that she’s in a five-member group it’s easier to “be more understanding” with her fellow members, and she’ll never have to experience not knowing a fellow member again.
