From newer K-Dramas like Business Proposal to older ones like Oh My Ghost, some actors weren’t afraid to take a chance with unscripted kisses to fit the scene and stay true to their characters.
And six years later, there’s one unscripted kiss scene in particular that’s giving fans butterflies all over again.
Despite being released in 2017, the fantasy K-Drama Strong Girl Bong Soon is still going viral years later for one of its iconic kisses. In the scene, Park Bo Young‘s character offers chocolate to Park Hyung Sik—only to eat it up herself.
So when Park Bo Young offered another piece of chocolate, Park Hyung Sik let his character’s personality shine. Keeping the playful atmosphere going, he surprised her with a kiss before eating the second piece of chocolate. It turned out her reaction was genuine because the kiss hadn’t been in the script.
Between the sweetness of the kiss and the fact it was unscripted, fans couldn’t get over how romantic it was and noted Park Hyung Sik’s ideal type being extremely similar to Park Bo Young. After all, the actors have previously confessed their love for each other.
