Where Is She Now? The Korean Actress Who Gained Attention For Being BLACKPINK Jisoo’s Lookalike As A Rookie
The BLACKPINK members are known for their stunning visuals, and the oldest member, Jisoo, has often stunned netizens with her beauty as the group’s official visual member and lead vocalist.
BLACKPINK debuted in August 2016, and after the four talented members were unveiled, netizens noticed visual similarities between Jisoo and a few fellow Korean celebrities.
One actress who was acknowledged for her resemblance to BLACKPINK’s Jisoo had just begun to gain notoriety for her roles in two 2015 series, House of Bluebird and Cheer Up!
The two celebrities earned attention for their resemblance eight years ago and have both risen in their respective career fields. Recently, it was revealed that the two stars would be fatefully brought together for a new acting project.
Actress Chae Soo Bin made her acting debut in 2014 and won awards for “Best New Actress” only a year later for her role in Cheer Up!
Since her acting debut, Chae Soo Bin has frequently gained starring roles. In 2017, she landed her first leading role in the historical drama, Love in the Moonlight, which earned her a nomination for the “Excellence Award” at the 30th KBS Drama Awards.
She’s held many starring roles in dramas and films over the years. In 2020, she even starred in the K-Drama A Piece Of Your Mind alongside Jisoo’s Snowdrop co-lead Jung Hae In.
Now, she will be appearing alongside Jisoo in the upcoming K-Drama Omniscient Reader (also known as Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint) based on a popular webtoon.
The drama has already shocked netizens with its star-studded cast, including actors Nana, Shin Seung Ho, Lee Min Ho, Park Ho San, Ahn Hyo Seop, Chae Soo Bin, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo.
Filming for the drama reportedly began in December, and netizens are already looking forward to seeing the star-studded cast on screen.
