Viewers Were Left In Tears And Heartbroken Over This One-Eyed Homeless Cat’s Plight
Last year, SBS‘s Animal Farm they followed the story of a homeless one-eyed cat who followed strangers into their apartment buildings elevator, and sometimes, even their homes.
The cat patrols the apartment building until he finds someone he can follow in before joining them in the elevator.
Once the person (or people) he followed onto the elevator disembark, he does the same, often attempting to follow them into their home.
On the occasions that he’s allowed in, he makes himself at home and enjoys a meal and a cozy place to rest.
His housing situation is never permanent, as sooner or later, he’s released back out into the “wild”.
Even when it gets cold and dark, he sits outside the building waiting to be let in. As viewers saw, not everyone treats this elderly darling with love and care, with this particular individual kicking the door to scare the cat away.
The resident in question explained that he chases the cat away because he’s afraid it might be carrying germs, among other things.
Despite being frightened away, the cat returns and waits. A veterinarian on the program expressed his opinion that the cat’s behavior is one that he likely learned from his previous owner…
… And is spending time searching for his lost owner.
The heartbreaking plight of this cat as he faithfully waits for his long-lost owner had viewers in tears as his story tugged at their heartstrings.
