The Vintage Dior Necklace That Koreans Have Dubbed The “Yeri Necklace” After Red Velvet’s Yeri
While netizens have touted a vintage Dior bag as the “Jisoo Bag” after BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, Red Velvet‘s Yeri has also set a vintage trend of her own.
While Yeri isn’t an ambassador for Dior, she’s often been sponsored by the luxury brand. She even modelled for them in a magazine spread before! Here is her advertising for their new cruise line.
She’s also been spotted rocking other reworked Dior vintage pieces such as this adorable pink Oblique tank top…
…and her daily style is impeccable! She often wears a mix of trendy and cute pieces with vintage accessories and bags.
She wore a gorgeous gold Christian Dior logo necklace as part of a photoshoot. Paired with her light brown locks and a deep green turtleneck, the necklace was front and center.
She looked both elegant yet simple at the same time.
The design soon went viral and people starting hunting on resellers for the piece. A very simple interlocking CD logo necklace, it can be paired with just about any look. The slightly chunky chain makes it look less dressy as well.
The slightly overlapping logo design is no longer in stores. Current designs have changed to match the new logo, where the C and D are perfectly aligned. The vintage design also comes in a silver shade.
It’s currently being dubbed the “Yeri Necklace” by multiple vintage stores. The market rate for the necklace at vintage resellers is an affordable ₩250,000 KRW (about $209 USD). The catch? It’s extremely hard to find! Be sure to snap it up if you ever come across it.
