"Wearing Slippers" Trends On K-Twitter Because Of BTS's Jimin

On June 4, 2021, a rather odd phrase began trending on K-Twitter. “Wearing slippers” rose on the trending topics chart for K-Pop-related terms.

The reason for the unusual trend? BTS‘s Jimin of course! In a freshly released dance practice video, Jimin displayed his amazing dance skills as usual. Fans, however, noticed something odd. Jimin was practicing in slippers!

The loose footwear didn’t stop him from being agile.

He was dancing like the rent was due!

Not only that, but he absolutely nailed the stunts such as jumping over the back dancers…
