Woman Catches Cheating Husband, Mother Dies Of Heart Attack During Heated Confrontation

A woman found her husband of 20 years cheating on her while she was out walking with her mother. The husband was caught hand-in-hand with the mistress.
The confrontation turned into an argument, during which her mother tried to intervene but tragically suffered a fatal heart attack and died. Three months following her death, the woman filed for divorce. However, her husband demanded half of the two houses that the woman had inherited from her mother.
According to Chinese law, property inherited during a marriage is considered joint property unless stated otherwise in a will. Since the mother didn’t leave a will, the court ruled that the husband was entitled to half of the inherited property, even though he had cheated and contributed to the tragic events.
Many people on social media were left outraged, feeling it’s unfair that the husband gets to benefit from this situation. Some blame the lack of a will for the outcome, while others worry this could discourage people from getting married.
