A Korean history textbook has gone viral with its hilarious lesson on World War 2.
Recently, a page from the specific book took over social media both on Korean and international online communities, where it discussed the event that led to World War 2’s conclusion.
In response to the question “How did the war end?” the book provided four options for students to choose the right one from. These options were as follows:
“The war ended when all German people were happy because farming was going well.”
“Hitler realized his mistake and stopped the war.”
“The war ended when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan,” and
“Hitler stopped the war when all the children in the world wrote letters asking him to stop the war.”
From the illustrations, the content, and the language of this book, it is evident that it was meant for very young students. But on the internet, the options provided in the book as the answer to World War 2’s ending have tickled the amusement of many grown-ups. People seemed to find the second option the funniest scenario.
