YG’s Backup Dancers Nailed BLACKPINK’s Choreo In New “DDU-DU DDU-DU” Cover
YG Entertainment has some of the best talent in the industry, but not all of their stars are directly in the limelight: some are dancing in the background!
On July 15, YG Entertainment dancer Eunyoung Park uploaded a new video to her personal Instagram and YouTube accounts.
In it, Eunyoung Park and three other YG Entertainment backup dancers perform BLACKPINK’s smash hit “DDU-DU DDU-DU” with all the skill and swagger it deserves.
In fact, you might have to do a double-take because this cover is just as fantastic…
…as BLACKPINK’s!
Like BLACKPINK, these backup dancers mesh well together. They feed off of each other’s energy and move in sync.
This version was likely recorded before BLACKPINK’s comeback since it features a different version of the song, along with slight differences to the choreography seen during BLACKPINK’s live stages.

Note: the gun moves in the chorus part was originally like a touching a piano, lisa’s part in the bridge part before the dance break was changed and also the last pose.

“DDU-DU DDU-DU” is Eunyoung Park’s only K-Pop dance cover on her YouTube channel, but she has also nailed dance routines by Jason Derulo, Ed Sheeran, and Ariana Grande.
YG Entertainment only accepts the best!
She has danced with WINNER in the practice room…
…and on stage.
With skills like these, these dancers are sure to support more of their labelmates in the future.
Although fans love BLACKPINK’s version of “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, they appreciate the dancers’ version and enjoy seeing how the routine changed from its beginning stages to the finished product.
In the past, fans have expressed their desire to see BLACKPINK perform with backup dancers.
1) yg should consider giving blackpink backup dancers
——
this is a curse for all even membered groups, especially small ones…but they only have so many formations available, and it leaves the stage a lil empty and/or dry cuz we’re seeing the same formations always

— Naomi. (@_naamstar) June 23, 2018
YG PLEASE … BLACKPINK is not 2ne1 don’t push a weird dance break on them and expect the same results. For 2ne1 they would have so many backup dancers to make them look like royalty SO WHY U NO SPAM BACKUP DANCERS FOR MAH GIRLS #UnpopularOpinion

If YG Entertainment does decide to give BLACKPINK backup dancers, these four could be perfect for the job!
